New Hire Training
Safety begins on day one. Every team member is introduced to our safety culture during the onboarding process.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
At GMP, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment is a cornerstone of our safety program. Every team member is trained and equipped with the right gear for the job—protecting themselves, their coworkers, and the worksite.
OSHA Training
OSHA training equips our team with essential knowledge on workplace safety regulations, hazard recognition, and effective prevention strategies.
Communication Training
Effective communication is critical to a safe work environment. Our team receives training on clear, consistent communication protocols to prevent misunderstandings, coordinate tasks, and ensure every jobsite operates smoothly and safely.
First Aid & CPR
Crews are trained to respond in medical emergencies with critical first aid and CPR skills.
Flagger & Traffic Control
Team members are trained to recognize hazards and safely execute flagging and traffic control procedures on roadways.

Success Starts with Safety

Budgets and schedules can move. Safety does not. On every GMP job, the well-being of our people, partners, and surrounding communities comes first—written in stone. Our crews complete OSHA 10/30, run daily JHAs, and follow strict PPE and traffic-control standards. Anyone has stop-work authority, and we keep trench safety, utility testing, and documentation inspection-ready at all times. The result is a clean, incident-free jobsite that keeps production steady and milestones predictable—so owners and GCs get build-ready hand-offs without surprises. That’s the GMP standard.

Safety Every Day, On Every Site

Our goal is to make sure every GMP team member has a voice when it comes to safety on the job. Everyone on our crews—and our contractors—has access to the company Safety director, where they can submit safety observations, positive or negative. When an observation is submitted, our safety team is notified right away so they can respond in real time. We’re always looking for ways to raise the bar on safety and empower every person at GMP to protect themselves, their team, and their work environment.

    GMP Contracting safety mission is to have a safety culture that shows in everything we do. Safety across the board, starting with good safety leadership to good management then out into the field. Every job we bid, every job we start and every job we finish, safety is incorporated into it. GMP Contracting has recently grown and is continuing to grow. Our safety program is growing just as much, meeting the needs of the construction world every day in every way. From quality safety training in every aspect of construction, to the continuing updated OSHA rules and regulations. Our goal is to give every employee the opportunity to have the best training, the best equipment and the safest work environment to ensure they go home safely. GMP Contracting has some of the best superintendents and foreman around. Each one is highly skilled and trained to meet the safety demands of all aspects of safety while working the job. A safe operation produces quality work which we all strive for. Through communication and good safety training, with a track record to prove it, GMP is proud to serve the construction industry to the highest safety standards, hands down!
